It can be very discouraging to learn all the ways humans have damaged the environment, endangered many species, and rapidly increased the warming of our planet for merely our convenience. I hope to spread an awareness on these issues that we as a society have created. My work often reveals a love for the environment in hopes of keeping these important conversations relevant. I address these issues in the form of printmaking, photography, and graphic design. My art speaks for the voiceless, such as the marine life choking on plastic, the orangutans who have lost their homes to the palm oil industry, and the children working in sweat shops. I connect with these important political issues and feel the need to make a difference through visual art to keep these issues relevant to help save this planet.
